The data controller for personal data collected through the Scholivo platform is Scholivo, reachable at: info@scholivo.com.
In the course of using the platform, the following data may be collected: first and last name, date and place of birth, gender, address, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, academic grades, tuition payment information, and information relating to parents or legal guardians.
Scholivo processes data relating to minors (students) solely within the framework of the agreement with the Institution. The Institution, as joint data controller, warrants that it has obtained the necessary authorizations from legal guardians in accordance with applicable Haitian law.
Data is collected and processed exclusively for school and administrative management purposes: student enrollment, academic tracking, report card generation, tuition payment management, and notification delivery. No data is sold or used for advertising or commercial purposes.
Processing is based on the performance of the subscription agreement accepted by the Institution (Terms of Use) and Scholivo's legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional school management service.
Data is retained for the duration of the active subscription, then for a period of 12 months after termination to allow for possible export or appeals. After this period, data is securely deleted.
Scholivo uses the Meta Cloud API (WhatsApp Business) to send school notifications (report cards, payments, announcements). WhatsApp numbers are transmitted to Meta's servers, located in the United States, solely for the purpose of sending these notifications. No other use is made of these numbers.
Scholivo implements appropriate technical measures to protect data: hashed passwords (bcrypt), secure sessions, Content Security Policy (CSP), role-based access control, and encrypted communications (HTTPS).
Any person whose data is being processed has the right of access, rectification, and deletion. These rights may be exercised with the Institution (for school data) or directly with Scholivo at info@scholivo.com.
Scholivo uses only technical session cookies (ci_sessions), necessary for the platform to function. No advertising, third-party analytics, or browsing tracker cookies are used.
